Wolf Spider

There are numerous species of Wolf Spiders, with wide size variation. They are true hunting spiders and actively hunt at night.

  • Very fast and active spiders. Commonly prey on frogs and have even been known to attack and kill Cane Toads!
  • Young are commonly dispersed using web ballooning.
  • Wide habitat include all coastal regions.
  • Bites can cause wide range of painful but not life-threatening symptoms – often ranging from severe palpitations to sweating and dizziness.
